Data on the level of light pollution on Mount Yavirnyk is now available on the world map of light pollution
The data obtained on the night of June 17-18, 2021 on the level of light pollution on Mount Yavirnyk and in the city of Uzhhorod was published in the mapping application www.lightpollutionmap.info.
www.lightpollutionmap.info is a mapping application (in a web version or as a mobile application) that displays the level of light pollution in the world. Among its main functions is the ability to present your own measurements of the night sky brightness conducted with the SQM devices (Sky Quality Meter) of various modifications. The basic raster overlay in the application uses data on the brightness of the night sky at the zenith from the "World Atlas for 2015"(F. Falchi, P. Cinzano, D. Duriscoe, C.C.M. Kyba, C.D. Elvidge, K. Baugh, B.A. Portnov, N.A. Rybnikova, R. Furgoni, The new world atlas of artificial night sky brightness. Sci. Adv. 2, e1600377 (2016)).
